「後宮甄嬛傳」讓大陸劇在台受歡迎，其實也有許多台劇登陸火紅，上海演員夏禕演出「光陰的故事」紅回大陸，該劇在深圳重播多次收視仍好，她說：「大家都叫我『陶媽媽（劇中稱呼）』，甚至在機場被戲迷認出，行李超重都沒被罰錢。」

她在公視「城市。獵人」飾演嫁來台灣的早餐店老闆娘，和現實生活類似，但之前開餐廳失敗不敢再嘗試，「上過當不開了。」
